While every effort is made to keep information up to date and correct, any interest rates quoted on this site must be confirmed by a Sasfin manager. Sasfin does not accept any liability for reliance placed on quoted rates in the absence of confirmation.

    3. upload files that contain software or materials of any sort thereby infringing any intellectual property laws;
    4. upload files that contain software or materials that contain viruses, corrupted files or similar software or programmes that may damage the website or the operation of another’s computer;
    5. advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services;
    6. conduct or forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters;
    7. download any file that you know or ought reasonably to know that cannot legally be distributed in such a manner;
    8. falsify or delete any author contributions, notices or bulletins;
    9. restrict or inhibit another user from using a Communication Forum;
    10. violate or breach any code of conduct or guidelines applicable for any particular Communication Forum;

Forex SDA Campaign Terms and Conditions

  1. Definitions:
    1. "Applicant" means either an existing or potential client of Sasfin who is applying, in his/her personal capacity, to conduct a Transaction;
    2. "FICA" means the Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 of 2001;
    3. "FICA Documentation" means, collectively, (i) a barcoded identity document; (ii) tax registration number; (iii) a proof of address which is dated within 3 (three) months of the date of submission to Sasfin; and (iv) any other documentation that may be required by Sasfin from time to time;
    4. "Sasfin" means Sasfin Bank Limited, a public company duly registered and incorporated according to the laws of South Africa, having registration number 1951/002280/06;
    5. "Single Discretionary Allowance" means the R1 000 000 (one million rand) allowance available to South African residents (natural persons) and foreign nationals who qualify, 18 years and older per calendar year, as provided for in the Currency and Exchanges Manual for Authorised Dealers in Foreign Exchange;
    6. "Terms and Conditions" means these terms and conditions; and
    7. "Transaction" means the Applicant’s transfer of up to R1 000 000.00 (one million rand) under the Single Discretionary Allowance.
  2. The Single Discretionary Allowance is available to South African residents and foreign nationals who qualify who are 18 (eighteen) years and older.
  3. Sasfin is inviting Applicants to apply to Sasfin to conduct a Transaction in accordance with the Single Discretionary Allowance.
  4. Sasfin is offering competitive Transaction fees to successful Applicants in respect of Transactions to be completed on or before 31 December 2020.
  5. Should an Applicant have obtained a quote from another Authorised Foreign Exchange Dealer (other than Sasfin) in respect of the Single Discretionary Allowance, the Applicant may request a more competitive quote from Sasfin.
  6. In order to qualify for the competitive quote, the Applicant must provide Sasfin with a valid quote from the other Authorised Foreign Exchange Dealer in which the Transaction fee is specified, as well as the relevant FICA Documentation.
  7. In addition, the Applicant must complete the online application form provided by Sasfin (available at sasfin.com) and any additional documentation as required by Sasfin. A successful Applicant will also be required to enter into the relevant agreements with Sasfin.
  8. The Applicant will be required to disclose the source of funds to be used in the Transaction and may be required to provide Sasfin with proof thereof.
  9. Each Transaction shall be subject to and conditional upon compliance with any applicable law including, without limitation, FICA and the Exchange Control Regulations.
  10. The Applicant warrants that all information provided by it to Sasfin is true and correct.
  11. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the law of South Africa.
